Terms and Conditions

Last updated 9 October 2026. These terms are between you and Lufy (lufy.uk) (“we”, “us”).

Please read these terms together with our Privacy Policy. By ticking the box when you create an account, or by accepting when we ask you to, you agree to both.

1. What Lufy is

Lufy is a web app for tradespeople. You can use it to keep appointments, prepare quotes and invoices, keep a list of your customers, email documents to them, and run monthly and annual reports. It also has optional voice and typed commands, and a few extras such as the game in Primo.

2. Who can use it

Lufy is for people who are 18 or over and who use it for their trade or business. If you create an account for a company or a team, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

3. Your account

4. Your data and your customers’ data

The jobs, quotes, invoices, customer details and settings you put into Lufy remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them so that Lufy can work for you.

When you enter details about your own customers, you are responsible for having a lawful reason to hold and use them, and for telling them how you use their details. For that data you decide why and how it is used, and we act on your behalf to provide Lufy. The Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.

5. Quotes, invoices, VAT and reminders

Lufy is a tool to help you prepare paperwork. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for checking every amount, VAT rate, date, address and wording before you send a document, and for making sure your documents meet any legal requirements that apply to your business. Reminders and reports depend on the information you enter and on emails being delivered, so please do not rely on them as your only safeguard.

6. Voice and typed commands

You can type or speak commands such as booking a job. Speech-to-text can mishear you, and a command can be misread, so always check what Lufy has filled in before you save it. We do not send your commands or recordings to an outside AI service. If that ever changes, we will say so in the Privacy Policy and ask you to accept the update.

7. Emails sent through Lufy

When you email a quote or invoice to a customer, Lufy sends it at your request. You are responsible for the content, and for having a proper reason to contact that person. Do not use Lufy to send spam or anything misleading, abusive or unlawful.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Lufy running, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free or free of data loss. Features may change, pause or end. Please use the “Your data” export from time to time and keep your own copies of anything important.

10. Cost

Lufy is currently provided without charge. If we introduce charges, we will tell you before they apply, and you will not be charged unless you agree.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Lufy at any time, and you can delete your account and its data yourself from the “Your data” section in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk, and we may close the service itself. Where it is reasonable, we will give notice and a chance to export your data first.

12. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss of profit, income, business, goodwill or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of Lufy. Our total liability to you for all claims connected with Lufy is limited to £100.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change matters, we will ask you to read and accept the new version the next time you sign in. If you do not accept it, you can export your data and delete your account.

14. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute (unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere). You can contact us at [email protected].
